Comprehensive Care

Each of our four surgeons are specialists in specific areas and together they provide comprehensive surgical capabilities for their patients, including:

• Joint Replacement
• Sports Medicine
• Hand Surgery
• Arthroscopic Surgery
• Fracture Care

Dr. Richard A. Cautilli, Jr., Dr. George P. Cautilli, Dr. David A. Cautilli, and Dr. Richard A. Cautilli, Sr., are all Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeons and Fellows of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

The surgeons all completed fellowship training, which is an extra year of training with experts using new procedures and techniques within a sub-specialty area of orthopaedics. This is in addition to their four years of general medical education, one year of general surgery, and four years of orthopaedic training.

The practice has a very consistent approach to medical care. Conservative management using non-surgical forms of treatment—such as rest, medication, injection or physical therapy—as well as education and prevention are appropriate first responses.

However, when pain continues, motion is compromised or injury occurs, surgery is often the appropriate response to provide relief or restore function. The surgeons of Cautilli Orthopaedics are trained to perform all necessary orthopaedic surgical procedures and manage pre- and post-operative care, as well.

The surgeons have published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals and regularly participate in continuing education to explore new life-enhancing surgical techniques.
